It appears that the stalemate in the strike at the Hongkong International Terminals continues.
No immediate resolution is expected in the next few days.
In the meantime, the berthing and sailing schedules of ships using HIT continue to be seriously affected and more and more shippers are directing the containers to leave by Yantian and Chiwan ports and by carriers using the Modern Terminals in Hong Kong.
