Hong Kong Airport Sees Mini-Boom in Cargo in Closing weeks of the Year

Cargo volumes through Hong Kong International Airport are set to stage a mini-boom in year-end. Managing Director of HACTL, Mark Whitehead, said the facility would see a “bloomlet” in airfreight tonnage, which means extra 35 flights (~3,500 tonnes) have booked space from early November to middle December.

All will carry export cargo to destinations including Tokyo, Moscow and cities in Central Asia.
