- After graduating from the University of Hong Kong in 1971, John joined Dodwell Hong Kong Buying Office and moved quickly up to the senior level as a director of the Company. He left Dodwell in 1983 and started his own businesses in international freight-forwarding and mid-stream container handling. He established Cargo Services Far East Limited in 1990 as a base to develop international logistics and supply chain, non-vessel operating common carrier (NVOCC), airfreight, shipping agency, which was later expanded to include fashion distribution and in recent years eCommerce services
- In 2010, Cargo Services Far East acquired Allport Limited, the biggest independent international logistics and freight-forwarding operations in the U.K. His fervent and unrelenting pursuit of excellence in services is well known and perceived by the customers all over the world and all our colleagues in the Group
